Wayne serves Etobicoke only. Postal codes starting with M8V, M8W, M8X, M8Y, M8Z, M9A, M9B, M9C, M9P, M9R, M9V or M9W are inside the service area. The service area page has the boundary and an address checker.
Are you an authorized GE service centre?
Wayne is an authorized GE service representative and handles GE warranty repairs directly. Have the model number, serial number and purchase date ready when you call.
What brands do you repair?
Wayne is authorized for GE appliances. For other brands, call (416) 329-1415 with the brand and model and he will tell you whether he can take the job.
How does booking work?
Call or fill in the request-a-visit form. Wayne confirms every booking himself, usually the evening before, with a time window based on his route that day.
Do you repair gas stoves and gas dryers?
Yes. Wayne is licensed for gas appliances and repairs gas stoves, ovens and dryers himself. If you smell gas, leave the home and call your gas utility first.
How much does a repair visit cost?
A diagnostic fee, confirmed when you book, covers the visit and the diagnosis. If you go ahead with the repair, the fee is applied to the repair cost. Wayne quotes before starting any work.
Can you repair a stacked washer and dryer in a condo?
Yes. Stacked units in condo closets are common in Etobicoke towers. Clear the closet and tell Wayne the building name and any elevator or parking rule when you book.
What should I check before calling?
Confirm the appliance is plugged in and the breaker is on, the door is fully closed, the filter or lint screen is clean, the settings are not on a delay or lock mode, and the drain hose or dryer vent is not kinked. If those are fine, call Wayne.
